Pakistan: Ferrous scrap imports drop by 23% m-o-m in July

Pakistan, South Asia’s major ferrous scrap buyer, imported 173,348 t in Jul’22 as against 223,819 t in June.
Seaborne bookings for July shipments decreased by 23% m-o-m.
Similarly, on a y-o-y basis, scrap imports fell by 30% compared to 246,169 t in Jul’21.
