Pakistan: Ferrous scrap import price up $5-10/t in recent trade

Pakistan’s ferrous scrap import prices have climbed $5-10/t compared to the beginning of this week on improved trade, as per SteelMint data. A few deals were confirmed for 2,000-4,000 t of containerised shredded scrap at $525-530/t, CFR Port Qasim. SteelMint’s bi-weekly assessment for shredded scrap stands at $525/t, CFR Port Qasim, up by $5/t against the last assessment on 7 Jun’21.
