PSU steel major Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has reported best-ever quarterly production in Q4 FY ’21.
- Hot metal production stood at 4.98 mn t, registering a growth of 8% against 4.60 mn t in the year-ago period.
- Crude steel production was at 4.56 mn t, which surged by 6% against 4.31 mn t in the same period last year,
- Saleable steel production stood at 4.42 mn t that moved up by 11% against 3.98 mn t in the corresponding period last year.
