A Pakistan-based buyer was heard to have sourced 5,000 t of HRC (SS400B) from China earlier this week. The deal was sealed at $770/t CFR basis for Jul’22 shipment. However, the seller wasn’t among the tier-I mills, SteelMint learnt from sources. Offers from the tier I-II mills were heard at around $780-790/t CFR. Bulk HRC shipments into Pakistan stood at around 22,549 t in Apr.
