OMC’s Auction of 54,500 MT Chrome Ore on 26 Nov’16

For the next round of chrome ore e-auction which are going to be held on 26 Nov’16 at 11:00 hrs (IST), the Odisha government owned miner OMC has offered 54,500 MT friable chrome ore and 4,800 MT chrome concentrate.

The company has offered 42,000 MT friable chrome ore from South Kalapani Chromite Mines, 12,500 MT friable chrome ore from from Sukrangi Chromite Mines, and 4,800 MT chrome concentrate from COBP Kalapani.

As per the specification, Cr2O3 shall be between 42% to 54%.

In this auction, base price for 48/50% grade friable chrome ore is kept at INR 12,757/MT and 18,000 MT material is been offered of this grade in the auction.

The delivery period of the material is 60 days from the date of contract.

The bid value quoted by the bidder should be the basic price in rupees per WMT (Wet Materic Ton) for the mineral inclusive of royalty and exclusive of cess and other statutory duties and levies etc applicable at the time of suppliers will be extra and payable by the successful bidder.
