Bhubaneswar: The Odisha steel and Mines department has invited bids for grant of one iron ore block namely ‘Gorhaburani-Sagasahi iron ore block’ through the electronic auction process to be conducted by MSTC ltd. The iron ore block is reserved for specific end use in the integrated steel plants.
The iron ore block situated in the Koira mining Circle of Odisha’s Sundergarh district is spread across 90.62 Hectre mineralized area and it has estimated total deposit of Total resource- 99.59 MT . (55% Fe cut off 84.92 MnT with Fe: 63.23% and at 45 to 55% Fe cut-off is 14.67 MnT with Fe: 49.97%)
Last date for purchase of Tender Document, after payment of a tender fee of INR 5,00,000 [INR Five Lakhs] for mineral block, on website of e-auction platform provider is February 05, 2016 and the last date for submission of the bid is February 10, 2016.
