MMTC on behalf of NINL has opened a new billet price circular for Indian domestic buyers. The plant has further reduced billet prices by around INR 500/MT to INR 20,000/MT ex-works, Odisha. The offer price is for 150*150 mm size and discount of upto INR 500/MT is also applicable on purchase of bulk quantity.
In the last price circular, the plant had offered the same size material at INR 20,200-20,700/MT, with a discount of upto INR 500/MT on purchase of bulk quantity.
As per market participants, NINL’s billet offers are not reliable as the same size material is available at around INR 19,000/MT ex-plant. They further added that the plant’s offers are higher due to limited production and less supply of material.
