Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) has published a tender for purchase of 400,000 MT steam coal for Samcheok Green Power Plants, South Korea. Bidders are requested to offer total quantity in lots of 80,000 MT at shipping tolerance on FOBT prices and the loading of the material is scheduled in Sep’16.
Each shipment of the coal supplied by the bidder shall be entirely from single mine with the annual production record of minimum 10 MnT.
The offer will be valid for the period of 3 business days from the date of tender closing. KOSPO can request the bidder to extend validity period of bid, if necessary.
Upon request by KOSPO, bidder shall provide relevant supporting documents including certificates, issued by the relevant authorities of the exporting country,
to demonstrate the legal status and current situation of the coal mine from which the coal would be supplied.

Total moisture (As received basis): 43% max
Fixed carbon (Air dried basis): 60% max
Ash (Air dried basis): 4.5% max
Net calorific value (As received basis): 3,700 kcal/kg min
Ash fusion temperature: 1,050°C min

Another company of South Korea, KOEN invites tender for purchase of 40,000 MT coal
Korea South-East Power Company (KOEN) has invited a tender for purchase of 40,000 MT Anthracite Coal for KOEN Power Plants. The bid price shall be CFR basis and single fixed price.
The offer will be valid for the period of 15 days after the bid closing date. KOEN can request the bidder to extend validity period of bid, if necessary.
Due date
The bid document should arrive before 14:00 hrs on 27 Jul’16 (Korean Standard Time).
