NINL floats an Iron ore fines purchase tender  

Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), at a very short notice, has today (May 2) floated an Iron ore fines (Fe% 63) purchase tender, on an urgent requirement for the raw material, from mine owners only.

NINL (Cuttack) requires Iron ore fines for manufacturing of both Pig iron (steel/foundry) and Billet.

60-100 rakes (234,000 to 390,000 tons) of fines is the total requirement, which is to be delivered as 30-50 rakes (117,000 to 195,000 tons) per month, for May and June.

Prices: In Rs/MT on F.O.R basis as per mentioned Railway Siding. And, inclusive of royalty and exclusive of labour welfare cess, entry tax ,VAT/sales tax.

Last date for submission of bids: On or before May 6 at 13:00 hrs IST.

Price bids to be opened: On May 6  at 15:00 hrs IST.

Loading Port: Nearest Railway siding of the supplier.

It is expected that NINL might receive bids at Rs 2,200/MT for fines, from mine owners.

Due to slow dispatches of the raw material, in the previous tender, NINL had to float another tender today.

Earlier, on March 4, NINL had floated a couple of tenders for purchase of Iron ore from mine owners and traders.

Crushed sized Iron ore (63% Fe)

Size: 10-40 mm and Quantity: 37,000 MT in 10 rakes

Response: 18 bidders participated in the tender and lowest bid received was at Rs 1,818/MT (loaded to wagon).

Iron ore fines (63% Fe)

Size: 0-10 mm, Quantity: 353,000 MT in 95 rakes

Response: Lowest bid received was at Rs 5,750/MT (loaded to wagon).

Delivery of the material: April to June.

Prices in Rs/MT on F.O.R basis, Railway Siding of NINL, Duburi (NINS) Jajpur,Odisha.
