Nepal’s rebar offers fell by NPR 400/t ($3/t) w-o-w to NPR 76,500-77,500/t ($545-552/t) for cash guarantee and NPR 78,500-79,500/t ($560-567/t) for bank guarantee sales amid weak demand in monsoon season. Wire rod (IF-EAF) offers dropped $5/t w-o-w to $498/t CNF Raxaul. Around 1,000 t of wire rods were booked at $490-495/t CNF Raxaul this week.
