Nepal mills book healthy volumes of sponge iron from India

Six rakes (15,000 t) of sponge iron were sold at $455-460/t LTW eastern India, equivalent to $475-480/t CPT Nepal (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%). One rake was also booked at $435-440/t LTW eastern India (FeM 78%, lumps 60%, fines 40%).
Two rakes of P-DRI were booked at $410-415/t LTW from eastern India ($430-435/t CPT Nepal).
SteelMint’s price assessment dropped by $5/t w-o-w to $480/t CPT Nepal, (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%). Offers for Bangladesh stand at $420/t CPT Benapole.
