Rebar manufacturers based in Mumbai increase gauge parity for all sizes by INR 300-500/MT
Mumbai based rebar manufacturers association, in a meeting held yesterday, has increased gauge parity for all sizes 8-32 mm. The new parity will be applicable from 24 Sep’16.
A well known rebar producer based in Mumbai said, “Around 8-10 rebar manufacturers based in Wada(Mumbai) have decided to increase gauge parity by INR 300-500/MT for 8-32 mm w.e.f 24 Sep’16 in order to match rising conversion cost.”
Presently, 12 mm rebar prices in Mumbai are in the range of INR 26,500-27,000/MT (basic price, excise duty and other taxes extra)
