Metal Mineral & Trading Corporation (MMTC) has issued an official document for the cancellation of its Pig iron export tender of Indian origin. The tender has been cancelled with immediate effect due to administration reasons.
The tender was issued on 11 Feb’16 and scheduled technical bid to open on 3 Mar’16. Due to uptick in the market and positive responses from the recent domestic offers, the company had also extended its export tender date till 15 Mar’16 in hopes to get better realization for its export tender. But finally, it has been cancelled from the department.
According to market sources, currently, the company is in wait-and-watch situation to see how market goes further.
