Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) exceeded its coal production during Oct’17 by around 9.13% over the production in Oct’16, according to an analysis of the production data obtained from the company.
During Oct’17, MCL had produced 35,637 MT of coal; and thus failing to achieve the target of 44,702 MT for the month. Despite achieving a positive year-on-year overall change, production in some of its mines were lower than that in the same month of the preceding year.
