Malaysia: OM Holdings reports higher ferro alloys production in Q2CY’22

Malaysian ferro alloys major OM Holdings reported slightly higher production volumes in the second quarter of CY’22 compared to the first. In Q2, ferro silicon production increased by 3% to 35,000 t, while manganese alloys production remained stable at 60,700 t. During this period, ferro silicon sales increased by 23% due to delayed shipments at the end of March that were carried forward to Q2.
