As the buying of Structure is low, manufacturers are determined to keep offer unchanged over volatile Semi Finish prices. Most of the leading secondary brands in Central India roll over their prices.
Manufacturers based at Central India such as Topworth, Mahamaya and Sarthak kept offers unchanged for this week. Average buying and limited productions supported the prices to remain firm. Mahamaya Ispat offers 200 mm Beam at about INR 32,500/MT. While, Topworth’s 250 mm Beam offers are at INR 31,900/MT. Meanwhile, Sarthak Ispat offered 150 mm H-Beam at INR 32,700/MT.
All the offers are same as last week and expected to remain same for this week also.
Western and Northern India’s Structure manufacturers also kept offers unchanged. Mumbai based Ghasiram and Vaishnav Ispat offers INR 35,000-35,100/MT for 40 mm Angle. They offer Structure at same rate they had more than a week ago. While, K.L Steels 200 mm Channel are offered at INR 35,600/MT. Demand in Uttar Pradesh in slightly increased from trade’s side but buying from projects is firm.
Market sources expect a slight slide in the prices whereas in short term price will remain stable at current level.
