LME to weigh banning Russian base metals

London Metal Exchange will weigh banning Russia-produced metals like aluminium, nickel and copper from its list of brands that can be delivered against their contracts. This decision will minimise risk of any price dislocation or market disruption. Some participants are worried that if this happens, Russian aluminium major Rusal would be unable to sell in the exchange market anymore.
