Australian Energy Regulator and the Energy Security Board have forecasted power prices to remain higher in the country for the next two years as it transitions through clean energy sources and slowly closes its coal-fired power plants. Power prices had surged to record highs in June in the country following heavy floods and higher global coal prices.
