LME nickel futures rose $41/t d-o-d to $15,146/t, while spot prices increased $46.5/t to $14,963/t. LME warehouse inventories rose 3,000 t to 221,094 t on 10 Sep’25. Nickel prices gained after a 0.1% m-o-m drop in the US Producer Price Index (PPI) boosted hopes for a Fed rate cut, but rising pure nickel inventories capped gains. The market is expected to remain volatile in the near term.
