Base metals prices on the LME showed positive momentum on 29 Jan’26, with aluminium increasing by 1.56% to $3,257/t. Inventories at LME warehouses witnessed mixed movements, with copper recording a gain of 0.91%. Indian copper armature scrap prices rose by INR 7,000/t d-o-d to INR 1,140,000/t ex-Delhi, while Aluminium Tense was stable at INR 212,000/t ex-Chennai, and increased by INR 3,000/t to INR 210,000/t ex-Delhi.
