List of India’s leading pellet producers in FY’22

Steel major AM/NS India was the leading domestic pellet producer in FY’22 with production in excess of 13 mnt – an increase of over 20% y-o-y, as per SteelMint data. While JSW Steel saw its output during the previous fiscal rise sharply by 58% y-o-y to 11.11 mnt, Tata Steel logged 20% increase in production to 7.34 mnt. JSPL’s production remained stable y-o-y at 7.76 mnt.
