Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) has invited bids to procure 80,000 t of 3800-4200 kcal/kg GAR grade thermal coal for this year, a tender notification showed. It has also raised the annual contract volume for the upcoming two years to 240,000 t. The bid closing date is 28 Nov, 1300 Korean Standard Time. The company has barred sellers of Russian coal to bid for the tender.
