Karnataka: NMDC Kumaraswamy’s iron ore fines auction receives up to INR 130/t premium

Karnataka-based miners auctioned 141,400-t iron ore, of which the entire quantity was sold.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy saw 10,000-t lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 61.12%) booked at INR 4,572/t (INR 10/t premium) and 116,000-t fines (Fe 57.79-58.76%) at INR 3,089-3,342/t (up to INR 130/t premium), respectively, on 16 Jul’25.
• R Praveen Chandra sold 15,400-t lumps (6-30 mm, Fe 57.5%) at INR 4,900/t (base price) on 15 Jul.

Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
