Ship-breaking scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, increased by INR 100/t d-o-d on 17 Jul’25, according to BigMint’s latest assessment. HMS (80:20) stood at INR 31,600/t ($368/t) exy. In yesterday’s trading session, semi-finished steel prices increased by INR 300/t, and decent trading activity was observed in the scrap market. This encouraged scrap suppliers to raise their offers.
