JSW Steel Global Trade Pte Ltd has concluded its Goonyella C and Goonyella C/Caval ridge coking coal tender today at $195/t FOB basis. The total quantity offered was 80,000 t for 22-31 August laycan. Global coking coal prices have seen a dramatic fall of more than 55% in last three months amid sluggish steel demand. However, current prices are still higher than pre-covid levels of $160/t FOB in Feb’20.
