Japan’s leading EAF mill- Tokyo Steel has hiked its scrap purchase price hike for the sixth time in December. It has raised scrap purchase price by JPY 1,500/t ($14) for all five works. The company would pay JPY 39,000/t ($375) for H2-scrap delivered to Tahara. The prices have hit over two-years high for Tahara.
