India’s largest producer of structural steel tubes – APL Apollo Tubes Limited, has increased pipe price by INR 2,000/t to INR 53,000/t ($721) FoR in Chhattisgarh w.e.f today. This is the third price hike made by the company in Dec. Meanwhile, the current offer for base grade (25 -125 NB, 2.2 – 8mm thickness) stands at INR 55,250/t (ex -Mumbai) and INR 55,000/t (ex -Delhi). Following a hike in flat steel prices, the company is likely to raise pipe prices by INR 2,000/t on 21st of this month, sources reported to SteelMint.
