Japanese scrap suppliers await Kanto export tender outcome

Japanese scrap suppliers are waiting for the results of Kanto Tetsugen tender which is scheduled on 9th Oct’20, SteelMint learned from its trade sources. Nearly 20,000 t of Japanese H2 scrap is auctioned via Kanto export tender every month and serves as a benchmark for Japanese scrap export market. SteelMint’s price assessment for Japanese H2 scrap export stood at JPY 27,500/t FoB last week.
