Japan’s leading EAF mill- Tokyo Steel has raised its scrap purchase price again by JPY 500/t ($5) for three works. Revised offers will be effective from tomorrow (14th Nov’20). The company would now pay JPY 27,000/t (257) for Utsunomiya, which is highest since Jun’19. Notably, this is the company’s second price hike in this week.
