Tokyo Steel, Japan’s leading electric arc furnace (EAF) steel manufacturer, has suspended domestic as well as export sales due to soaring raw materials, semis and finished steel prices in Europe admist the Russia-Ukraine crisis. The steel major explains the reason behind suspension of sales – “It is necessary to determine at what levels the overseas market will stabilise”.
