Japan’s leading EAF mill- Tokyo Steel increases scrap purchase price for Utsunomiya plant by JPY 2,000/t ($19.3), effective from 24th Dec’20. The company would pay JPY 41,000/t ($396) for H2-scrap delivered at Utsunomiya in Kanto region. However, the company has kept its price unchanged for the other four works in today’s revision.
