Japan: Silico manganese imports inch up by 2% y-o-y in Jan-Nov’22

Japan’s silico manganese imports rose by 2% y-o-y to 249,138 t in Jan-Nov’22 compared to 244,512 t in Jan-Nov’21.
India was the largest exporter at 126,269 t, up by 12% y-o-y in the period under review. Following India, were Vietnam at 56,635 t and Malaysia at 28,520 t, respectively.
The country’s silico manganese imports in Nov’22 dropped by 11% m-o-m at 20,491 t as against 22,937 t in Oct’22.
