Japan: Ordinary steel inventory decreases by 5.7% m-o-m in Jul’24

Japan’s ordinary steel inventory dropped by 5.7% m-o-m to 4.997 mnt in Jul’24, as reported by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation. Inventory for exports rose by 30,000 t to 1.246 mnt. The combined inventory ratio for domestic and exported products declined by 13.6% m-o-m to 121.5%, as per Japan Metal Daily.
