Flat steel exports by Japan stood at 2.15 mn t in Nov’21, up 6% compared to 2.04 mn t in Oct, SteelMint data shows. In Jan-Nov, export volumes jumped 8% to 22.98 mn t compared to 21.21 mn t in the same period last year.
Leading export destinations were Thailand, China and South Korea. Meanwhile, HRC/plates held the largest share of exports at 1.21 mn t in Nov.
