Japan: Flat steel exports rise 5%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

Japan’s flat steel exports stood at 1.88 mnt in Feb’22, up 5% as against 1.78 mnt a month ago. HRC, plates were traded the most at 1.04 mnt, followed by electrical sheets and galvanised steel at 0.39 and 0.19 each respectively in Feb. Country-wise, major chunk of flats have been shipped to China and Thailand at 0.29 mnt followed by South Korea at 0.26 mnt during the month.
