Japan: Ferro Chrome imports down 23% m-o-m in Feb’22

Japanese ferro chrome imports decreased by 23% m-o-m to 50,373 t in Feb’22 in comparison to 65,468 t in Jan’22. However, yearly imports increased by 26% to 115,841 t in Feb’22. Major exporting countries to Japan were Kazakhstan (15,429 t, down 29%) followed by South Africa (19,078 t, up 6%), India, and Russia, on a monthly basis.
