Japan: Billet exports recover by 14% m-o-m in Feb ’21

Japan billet exports in Feb ’21 recorded at 0.25 mn t, up by 14 % m-o-m. South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand stood as the predominant importers of the Japanese billets during the period under consideration. However, on a y-o-y basis, the exports fell by 35% in Feb ’21. During CY ’20, Japan exported around 3.72 mn t billets.
