Iron Pellet prices in
Odisha correct over Rs 1,000/MT ($16/MT) in last one month due to falling
steel prices.
Offers for 63% Fe Pellet is maintained at Rs 7,500/MT
(F.O.R Barbil Siding, Basic prices).
With rising steel prices in
India from last one week, Pellet makers forsee an improved demand.
“We are receiving
booking orders at current prices as demand has improved along with
rise in sponge iron (DRI) prices.
Pellet offers might be raised if buying
continues to be good”, said a senior official of a Pellet manufacturing
company based in Odisha.
Pellet prices in Karnataka
are yet to witness a firm revival as producers maintain offers at Rs 7800/MT
(Ex-Works, Basic) for 63% Fe Pellet.
