- Iron Pellet producers offered the raw material at same prices in comparison to offers quoted in the previous week.
- Due to no reduction in iron ore prices and its low supply in states such as Odisha and Karnataka and high prices of good quality iron ore in e-auctions, Iron Pellet offers were firm.
- Importing of Iron Pellet was expensive as compared to offers in domestic market. Landed cost in domestic market was quoted at Rs 500/MT less for the similar grade than imported cost at $150/MT CFR Kandla.
- During the next week, Iron Pellet prices might be more or less in the same range due to low supply of iron ore. Buying should be good as demand for finished steel is improving along with prices.
