Iron Ore Pellet market in India is witnessing a decent demand as of now but only as low prices.
The material is being traded by Rs 300/MT less to Rs 8,000-8,100/MT (Ex Tatanagar, Jamshedpur) due to weakening demand in domestic market at higher offers.
Further correction in the range of Rs 100-200/MT might take place provided the re-bar market does not meet with any improvement in trading volumes within short time.
An Iron Ore Pellet manufacturer based in Raipur, Chattisgarh is anticipated to take a decision regarding the changes in current prices, standing in the range of Rs 9,400-9,500/MT (Basic) in a couple of days.
Iron Ore Pellet producers had been waiting for NMDC to take a decision about December iron ore prices which has been announced unchanged.
