Iran’s steel output up 2% y-o-y in Q1

Crude steel output in Iran registered 2.21% y-o-y increase to 12.5 mn t in the first quarter of current fiscal year (20 Mar-20 Jun’20), of which semi-finished output was recorded 7.14 mn t and finished steel output at 5.33 mn t, up 3% and 1% y-o-y respectively. Mobarakeh Steel Company remained the top producer with 4.72 mn t of output.
