Iran’s steel consumption rises 12%, y-o-y, in Mar-May

Iran’s steel consumption increased marginally in the first two months of the current Persian year (Mar-May’22), according to the latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

• Finished steel consumption increased by 12% y-o-y.
• Flat steel and long steel consumption rose on the year by 10% and 15%, respectively.
