Iranian mills conclude 50,000 t billet export deal at increased price levels

Two leading steel exporters of Iran reported having concluded their billet export tenders, floated for 30,000 t and 20,000 t. According to SteelMint sources, the mills achieved a price level of $579-580/t, FoB. The shipments schedule is for May-Jun ’21 with China and SE Asia as likely destinations. Iranian billet export prices have increased by $10 w-o-w.
