Iranian mill concludes 30,000 t DRI export deal

An Iranian mill has concluded an export deal for 30,000 t of direct reduced iron (DRI), sources informed SteelMint. The deal was concluded at around $310/t FOB for Aug-Sep shipment. Iran’s DRI exports in the last Persian year (21 Mar’21- 20 Mar’22) stood at 1.05 mnt, registering a 25% growth compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).
