An Iranian steel mill concluded an export deal for 50,000 tonnes (t) of steel slabs at around $750/t on FOB basis and the shipment is scheduled for Apr’22, sources informed SteelMint. Iran’s slab export prices went up significantly by around $50/t compared to the last-concluded tender in mid-March. Hike in global HRC prices and supply concerns led to the rise in slab export prices, SteelMint notes.
