Iran’s steel billet export prices declined by $5-10/t in recent tenders, with mills concluding deals at around $415/t FOB and $410-418/t compared to $420/t last week, sources informed BigMint. However, ESCO sold 30,000 t of high-manganese billets at $427/t FOB. Iran’s semi-finished steel exports in the last Persian Year (21 Mar’24-20 Mar’25) totalled 6.10 mnt, a decrease of 22% y-o-y, according to data from Petrometals.
