India: Over 85,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka will see auctions for around 85,400 t of iron ore.

• SMIORE: 21,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 55.1-61.2%), 12,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 54.7%), and 21,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 54.2-55.2%) of lumps and 16,000 t of fines (Fe 52.1-54.5%) on 19 May’25.
• R Praveen Chandra: 7,700 t (10-40 mm, Fe 57.5%) and 7,700 t (6-30 mm, Fe 57.5%) of lumps, with floor prices set at INR 5,200/t and 5,300/t, respectively, on 20 May’25.

Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
