As per the data reported by IRNA, Iran produced around 1.5 MnT of semi-finished steel in 8th month of current Persian year (23 Oct-21 Nov’17). Production was up by 29% Y-o-Y during the month. Cumulatively the production during first 8 months of current Persian year (21 Mar-21 Nov’17) was noted around 11.2 MnT.
• Mobarakeh Steel produced around 5.65 MnT of Slab in first eight months of current Persian year, registered a growth of 15% Y-o-Y
• Semi-finished steel (Billet, Bloom and Slab) production in Khouzastan steel was around 2.50 MnT in first 8 months of current Persian year. The production was up by 5% Y-o-Y.
• Bloom production in Esfahan steel was noted around 1.52 MnT during the period.
• South Kaveh steel produced around 0.54 MnT billet in current Persian year.
• Khorasan steel company produced around 0.50 MnT of semi-finished steel during the period.
• Iran Alloy Steel produced around 0.28 MnT of Bloom in current Persian year, registered a growth of 12% Y-o-Y.
• Iran National Steel Group produced around 0.04 MnT Billet in first 8 months of current Persian year.
