Iran: Domestic billets, rebars prices rise sharply amid supply concerns

Iran’s domestic billets and rebars prices saw an upward trend. Prices are on the rise amid limited supply of billets in the domestic market due to a harsh cold weather and the gas supply shortage, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billets prices rose by 9,000 Rial/kg to 177,500 Rial/kg as against 11 Jan’23.
• Rebars prices stood at 217,000 Rial/kg, a sharp increase of 14,000 Rial/kg.
