State-owned miner OMC has increased the base price for its upcoming chrome ore auction on 17 Jan’23. The base price has been raised by 9% over the previous auction on 16 Dec due to a hike in ferro chrome prices. As per SteelMint’s assessment, ferro chrome prices have risen by 10% m-o-m as on 12 Jan’23 against prices on 15 Dec’22.
